bvsd.org — Enrollment Statistics: Historical Pupil Count
Used for: each school's current enrollment, 10-year peak, % of peak, and the 2014–2025 trend line on every card.

Used for: the "Proposed Plan" color mode, the movement arrows showing where students and programs would go, the "Proposed plan" notes on affected schools' cards, the "2030 w/ proposal" view in the % of Capacity color mode, the "After the proposal" summary in the district overview, and the amber "with proposal" lines and enrollment ranges on those cards' capacity charts (post-change projections for 2027-28 and 2030-31 from the Board presentation, pp. 25, 37, 39, 48, 51 and 54; ranges depend on how many students from a sending school follow the reassignment). School-by-school descriptions use the district's own language.
bvsd.org — Resilient Schools: Responding to declining enrollment · "Latest enrollment data confirms need for holistic action" (Feb 2026)
Used for: the phase chips shown on school cards, which reflect BVSD's Long Range Advisory Committee (LRAC) thresholds — advisory phase (≤2 classes per grade and ≤60% of capacity) and community engagement phase (≤1.5 classes per grade and ≤50% of capacity, sustained in projections) — plus schools BVSD projects to cross those thresholds by 2030.
BVSD's attendance-area GIS layers (elementary, middle, high, and district boundary), as published in the district's ArcGIS maps linked from the K-12 School Finder.

Elementary projections run through 2030-31; middle-school projections come from an earlier report and run through 2029-30, with capacity as of 2024. BVSD has not published per-school capacity or projection tables for high schools, so high-school cards show enrollment history only. Capacity figures are BVSD's program capacity based on current use of each building. If you spot an error, please get in touch.
